As a Security Officer Patrol Inspector in East Saint Louis, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify access credentials as required, and support visitor processing in accordance with site rules and security-related protocols.
- Support emergency communications, assist with evacuation or shelter-in-place directions when appropriate, and complete required reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
