  • Resolve alignment issues by clarifying intent, connecting the right stakeholders, and elevating unresolved concerns.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that require senior-level visibility, disciplined follow-through, and consistent communication.

  • Develop clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate communications for senior leaders.
  • Convert complex technical, operational, acquisition, policy, or program information into concise executive products.
  • Maintain consistency between leadership messaging, organizational priorities, and external stakeholder engagement.
  • Prepare leadership for internal reviews, customer meetings, conferences, governance forums, and senior-level engagements.

Governance, Task Management, and Process Discipline:
  • Maintain visibility of leadership taskers, suspense items, commitments, meeting outcomes, and decision records.
  • Recommend improvements to staff processes, battle rhythm, information flow, and leadership engagement preparation.
  • Ensure executive products meet quality, accuracy, formatting, classification, and coordination standards before submission.
  • Support governance forums by preparing agendas, capturing decisions, assigning follow-up actions, and monitoring completion.

Risk and Issue Elevation:
  • Monitor emerging risks that may affect executive priorities, organizational performance, stakeholder confidence, or mission execution.
  • Distinguish between issues that can be resolved at the working level and issues requiring executive intervention.
  • Provide concise escalation summaries that include context, impact, options, and recommended next steps.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting senior leaders, executive offices, program offices, command staff, or equivalent leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high visibility taskings with competing deadlines.
  • Strong written communication skills, including experience developing executive-level briefings, summaries, staff packages, and decision materials.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear findings, risks, options, and recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of staff coordination, governance processes, executive communications, and cross-functional action tracking.

Education and Experience:

  • 10 or more years of experience in executive staff support, program management, operations, strategy, defense, government, aerospace, technology, or another complex mission-driven environment.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to dynamic priorities.
