VTC Field Service Engineer

Seeking a VTC Field Service Engineer to support the AFNCR ITS program within the Network Enterprise Operations group. This individual will serve as a senior multimedia systems engineer supporting enterprise AV/VTC environments and associated technologies.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support enterprise audio-visual (AV) and video teleconferencing (VTC) systems across the organization
• Research AV/broadcast platforms and evaluate capabilities against competing technologies
• Architect scalable multimedia solutions and support testing/certification efforts
• Supervise AV/VTC software testing, upgrades, technology insertion, and installations
• Provide advanced/Tier 3 support for AV/VTC systems and maintenance activities

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience with:
• AV/VTC engineering and support
• Multimedia systems engineering
• Broadcast and collaboration technologies
• Proficiency with:
• International Telecommunications Union (ITU) standards
• IT systems installation methodologies
• Electronic Industries Association (EIA) standards
• Experience with scalable AV architecture, upgrades, and system integration

Required Certifications / Education:

• Current Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
• Crestron Digital Certified Engineer OR Crestron Certified Programmer certification
• Training/certification from organizations such as:
• AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
• Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE)
• Bachelor's degree required OR equivalent experience substitution per LCAT

LCAT Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant multimedia systems engineering experience
• Experience substitutions allowed:
• Master's degree + 5-7 years experience + ability to attain required certs within 1 year
• No degree with 15 years progressive experience and all current certifications
