Description
The Technical Screening Support Program Manager is responsible for managing and advancing the specialized personnel screening program for CenCore's client. Day-to-day responsibilities for this position include management of screening requests and collaboration with client stakeholders to determine site access while also developing technical enablement, automation, and system driven controls. In addition to ensuring regulatory and policy compliance for high risk and regulated access roles, this position designs and maintains the technical mechanisms that operationalize screening decisions across access and compliance workflows.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams while supporting stakeholders across the organization. This role functions as both a personnel security subject matter expert and a technical program manager, translating contract requirements into scalable, auditable, and repeatable systems that reduce risk, improve accuracy, and enable secure growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently process and manage screening requests received through a dedicated shared inbox, functionally reporting to the Director of Specialized Screening.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry across access management systems and tracking tools.
- Monitor request queues, prioritize tasks, and ensure service-level expectations are met.
- Utilize client tools to manage up-to-date screening lists and deliver the lists to key stakeholders for operational readiness across multiple client sites.
- Maintain situational awareness of end-to-end access processes and troubleshoot client screening or access issues.
- Maintain authoritative records of screening eligibility, active status, offboarding, and compliance posture.
- Own screening data sources as systems of record, ensuring data accuracy, lineage, and integrity across tools and reports.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows that replace manual, inbox driven screening processes with policy aligned, rule based orchestration.
- Embed SLA tracking, escalation logic, exception handling, and audit signaling directly into screening workflows to reduce operational risk and dependency on human intervention.
- Ensure automation aligns with client privacy, security, and data handling standards.
- Define and deliver screening metrics and telemetry, including turnaround time, exception rates, access risk indicators, and compliance gap trends.
- Partner with reporting and tooling specialists to ensure screening data is consumable by broader security and compliance dashboards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and architectural artifacts that describe screening systems, logic, and control points.
- Continuously improve screening program maturity by reducing manual touchpoints, clarifying decision logic, and strengthening system based enforcement.
- Partner with Access Management, Operations, Global Security, Legal, HR, and technical teams to integrate screening controls with broader security ecosystems.
- Identify systemic risks, control gaps, and failure modes in screening and access workflows, proposing durable technical mitigations rather than procedural fixes.
- Support audits, investigations, and compliance reviews with system derived evidence and traceability.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, or recurring issues and propose improvements.
