We are seeking a Risk Manager & Scheduler Join the Leidos team on the front lines of digital transformation for the Department of Defense. As a member of the Cloud One ACSS program / C1N ACSS.

The Cloud One Program Risk Manager & Scheduler serves as the central lead for program-level risk, opportunity, and integrated scheduling activities across complex cloud modernization and enterprise IT initiatives supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This role provides leadership with a comprehensive view of program risks, opportunities, schedule performance, mitigation strategies, and operational impacts to support informed decision-making across technical, operational, financial, and contractual domains.

The successful candidate will manage the execution of the Risk & Opportunities Management Plan (ROMP), maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), facilitate risk identification and mitigation planning, and ensure alignment between program execution, financial forecasting, and strategic objectives. This position requires close coordination with program leadership, engineering teams, operations personnel, finance, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.

This role is critical to ensuring Cloud One programs maintain visibility into risk exposure, schedule health, contractual compliance, and delivery performance within highly dynamic cloud and cybersecurity environments.

Clearance: Active Secret (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary lead for all program Risk and Opportunity (R&O) management activities across Cloud One initiatives. 
  • Define, maintain, and continuously improve the program’s Risk & Opportunities Management Plan (ROMP). 
  • Facilitate recurring risk identification, assessment, prioritization, and mitigation planning sessions with cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Ensure risks and opportunities are properly characterized, quantified, documented, and tracked through closure. 
  • Coordinate with technical, operational, cybersecurity, engineering, and financial teams to ensure integrated risk visibility across the program. 
  • Support risk owners in developing mitigation and contingency plans, including cost and schedule impact assessments. 
  • Maintain program risk registers and ensure compliance with contractual and corporate reporting requirements. 
  • Develop risk-based cost forecasting inputs and support Estimate at Complete (EAC) and program financial planning activities. 
  • Provide executive-level reporting and dashboards on program risk posture, trends, and mitigation effectiveness. 
  • Deliver risk exposure updates to program leadership, corporate stakeholders, customers, and audit/compliance organizations as required. 


Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)
  • Develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) supporting Cloud One program execution. 
  • Coordinate schedule integration across engineering, operations, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, software delivery, and transition activities. 
  • Conduct schedule health assessments, critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and what-if scenario modeling. 
  • Ensure schedule alignment with program milestones, deliverables, staffing plans, and contractual requirements. 
  • Support program reviews, integrated product team (IPT) meetings, and customer status reviews with schedule performance metrics and analysis. 
  • Identify schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain program execution objectives. 
  • Collaborate with program managers, technical leads, and control account managers to ensure accurate schedule status and forecasting. 


Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and Power Query. 
  • Automate recurring reporting and data collection processes to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. 
  • Produce recurring reports supporting program execution, risk exposure, schedule performance, and operational readiness. 
  • Analyze program data to identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for process improvement. 


Stakeholder Coordination
  • Serve as a liaison between program leadership, finance, operations, engineering, and customer stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate risk and schedule activities across multiple integrated teams and subcontractors. 
  • Ensure communication and reporting cadence aligns with program governance and enterprise risk management standards. 
  • Support audits, program reviews, milestone assessments, and customer engagements. 


Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant project management experience. (Note: Additional years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • An active Secret clearance.
  • Experience supporting Cloud One, Platform One, or enterprise cloud modernization initiatives. 
  • Experience supporting AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or hybrid cloud environments. 
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps environments. 
  • Experience supporting enterprise risk governance, audit readiness, or operational compliance activities. 
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and schedule performance metrics. 
  • Experience automating workflows using Power Automate or similar tools. 
  • PMP, PMI-RMP, or related program/risk management certification preferred. 
  • Experience supporting large-scale defense, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure programs.
