Job Summary
Parsons is seeking a Government Property Administrator to support our Property and Logistics organization. This role works closely with functional management, DoD and other federal agencies, suppliers, contracts, and internal teams to administer multiple aspects of the Government Property Management System. Responsibilities include supporting the full property lifecycle: acquisition, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, and contract closeout. This position is on-site at our Huntsville, AL office.

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14

Job Summary
Parsons is seeking a Government Property Administrator to support our Property and Logistics organization. This role works closely with functional management, DoD and other federal agencies, suppliers, contracts, and internal teams to administer multiple aspects of the Government Property Management System. Responsibilities include supporting the full property lifecycle: acquisition, identification, utilization, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor control, and contract closeout. This position is on-site at our Huntsville, AL office.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Federal contracts with property requirements to ensure compliance.
- Perform cradle-to-grave management of government-owned and contractor-acquired property.
- Serve as primary program contact for all asset management matters.
- Ability to interpret contract language and FAR/DFARS clauses as it pertains to property management.
- Manage and support Item Unique Identification (IUID) requirements.
- Conduct inventories and property-related tasks at program sites (travel required).
- Support compliance with regulations, internal controls, and audit protocols.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Contracts, Procurement, Production Control, and Program teams.
- Support Government customers (internal/external) during audits and maintain proactive relationships as required for select programs.
- Promote continuous improvement within the Logistics/Property organization.
- Maintain effective communication and professional behavior in daily interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years relevant experience; OR an advanced degree with 3+ years' experience.
- Experience in Government Property, Asset Management, Operations, or Supply Chain.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Active Secret clearance (or higher).
- Experience in government property and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance areas including interpreting and implementing FAR and DFAR contract property requirements.
- Experience with property systems such as Costpoint, SAP, eQuip, or A2B.
- Working knowledge of Government reporting systems such as GFP Module and PIEE.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and urgent requests to ensure that business needs are met.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Logistics, Property, Operations, or Supply Chain within a FED environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of database architecture and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently.
- NPMA certifications (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM).
- Previous DoD or federal contracting experience.
