AT&T has an opening for a Technical Expert to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in providing IT services and connectivity in a Department of War (DoW) environment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Manager in execution of contractual compliance.
- Manage integration with the DoD Internet Access Points (IAPs) and network infrastructure, including configuring Access Point Names (APNs) for secure mobile routing. Ensure IPv6 dual-stack compliance and optimal enterprise routing/switching to maintain high performance.
- Support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)-derived credentials and Single Sign-On (SSO) for mobile and desktop users; implement Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) to enable secure enterprise mobility management.
- Conduct ongoing performance tuning and capacity planning to meet stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Design and execute strategies for 99.9% availability, including redundancy and failover testing.
- Work with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) on Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) registrations and approvals; ensure security architecture (private root certificates, firewall rules) aligns with program requirements.
- Oversee technical validation in Test & Evaluation environment, supporting Government-led data technology and operational technology (DT/OT) events. Validate service fixes and upgrades before production deployment, ensuring no regression in security or performance.
- Develop and maintain detailed configuration baselines and integration documentation; contribute to the Transition-In Plan for smoothly evolving the service.
- Serve as final escalation point for complex incidents. Provide expertise to swiftly restore normal operations and implement preventive measures for future.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD or DISA IT service programs.
- Deliver, deploy, and sustain an unclassified Cloud Service Offering (CSO)
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (Cisco CCNP/CCIE for networking, Microsoft/CISSP for security) reflecting mastery in network and security engineering.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, virtualization, and FedRAMP solutions.
- Background in performance tuning of large-scale systems (load balancing, latency)
