Job Description
Markon is building a talent pool of Program Control Analysts to support upcoming Intelligence Community missions from Chantilly, VA. This opportunity is intended to identify qualified professionals to provide program control, budget analysis, financial management, and acquisition support across complex government programs and portfolios. Selected candidates will be considered for the upcoming openings aligned to this customer's priorities and mission requirements.

Responsibilities
- Review program requirements, budget estimates, and spend plans for accuracy and completeness.
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and execution activities across programs and directorates.
- Analyze resource data and provide recommendations regarding funding priorities and resource trade-offs.
- Review and validate financial analyses, budget submissions, and resource documentation.
- Assist with financial reporting, budget reconciliation, and program performance tracking.
- Support development of executive summaries, presentations, issue papers, briefings, and budget documentation.
- Monitor financial management processes to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Identify and help resolve data discrepancies through analysis and validation techniques.
- Support resource realignments and funding adjustments to maintain program execution.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to support mission objectives.
- Assist with acquisition and performance management activities, including PMRs, BMRs, and related reviews.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial reporting tools, databases, and resource repositories.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required (preferrably from this client).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Acquisition, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in program control, budgeting, financial management, acquisition support, or related field.
- Experience supporting NRO or other Intelligence Community organizations.
- Knowledge of federal budgeting principles, financial management processes, and acquisition support activities.
- Experience with financial analysis, resource tracking, and budget execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with federal appropriations law and financial compliance requirements.
- Experience preparing executive-level reports, presentations, and decision-support materials.
- Experience with financial and resource management systems and reporting tools.
