Logistics Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a Logistics & Operations Specialist to fully own U.S. logistics operations for our biomedical device business. This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibilities, but with endâtoâend accountability for shipping, inventory, demo equipment, and crossâfunctional coordination.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fastâpaced startup environment, is highly serviceâmotivated, and enjoys being the goâto person for making logistics run smoothly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own all U.S. inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments to customers, clinical sites, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage shipping vendors, carriers, and documentation.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant deliveries
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking for medical devices (40,000+last year).
- Monitor inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and support demand planning.
- Manage storage, distribution, and organization of devices.
- Support audits, cycle counts, and inventory reporting.
Demo Kit Management
- Own the demo kit lifecycle, including checkâin, checkâout, refurbishment, and redeployment.
- Track demo equipment usage and availability.
- Coordinate shipments for sales demos, training, and evaluations.
- Ensure demo kits are complete, functional, and ready for customer-facing use.
- Act as CrossâFunctional Interface – Supply Chain/Procurement/Operations/Compliance
- Serve as the primary logistics point of contact for sales, clinical, customer success, and leadership.
- Provide clear communication and responsive service to internal stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot shipping, inventory, or demo-related issues quickly and professionally
- Process Ownership & Improvement.
- Establish, document, and improve logistics and inventory processes.
- Scale systems and workflows as company volumes grow.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in logistics, operations, inventory management, or fulfillment.
- Experience handling physical products at scale (medical device, healthcare, hardware, or regulated products strongly preferred).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently and owning a functional area endâtoâend.
- High service orientation with strong communication skills.
