Information security is an integral part of AWS' corporate culture. It is essential to maintaining our position as a leader in cloud computing, which is why AWS has made it a priority to create top-tier threat intelligence operations and incident response teams to defend our customers against evolving threats. If you would like to join a company where security is truly job zero, where you can work with like-minded peers who are passionate about the art & science of cyber defense, and where you can use state of the art tools for maximum impact, then we have a home for you.

In addition, you will be responsible for continuously identifying gaps and manage the improvements in security response process, technologies, and monitoring. Working closely with the AWS Security, Infrastructure, and Service teams, the Intelligence Community and Defense Industrial Base, you will ensure cyber-defense requirements are identified and communicated from the earliest moments in the project life-cycle.
You are a leader, builder and operator. You have experience leading multiple, simultaneous efforts and/or IT projects and initiatives. You are able to balance technical leadership and are savvy with strong business judgment to make the right decisions about technology. You'll strive for simplicity and will demonstrate significant creativity.
This position requires the candidate must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The position further requires the candidate to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
