Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or 6 years of professional experience
• Experience in reading and interpreting detailed blueprints, lay-out sketches, process standards and specifications
• Experience with aircraft work instructions.
Desired Skills:
• Communication and interpersonal skills for the purpose of communication and instruction at all levels.
10+ years aircraft avionics, electrical assembly experience with a minimum of 5 years F-16 experience preferred. Understanding of structural layouts and sheet metal repair.
• Must be able to explain/demonstrate in detail layout process and secure coordination of assemblies working to station, water, center, and butt lines shown on engineering documents and be fluent in interpreting and performing coordinated exact tolerance dimensioning.
• F-16 electrical and structural repair/modification experience highly desirable.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Support Team Member - Level 3 you will be responsible for supporting production processes in a team-based manufacturing environment, delivering on-the-job training, assessment, and certification for electrical and structural assembly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Observe, assess, and train personnel on-the-job in electrical and structural assembly procedures.
- Component installation and operational check out.
- Identify and recommend corrective actions for any deficient assembly processes or skill gaps.
- Support corrective-action investigations, root-cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
- Maintain 6S/lean practices within your area of responsibility.
- Act as supervisor during supervisor absences, build work plans, and set daily expectations for the team.
