Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a motivated Early Career Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer to join our team. You will support Test Equipment and Test Software activities for developmental missile and launch systems.
What You Will Be Doing
As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test equipment hardware and software development as needed, analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions, and troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues. You collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), and functional testing.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. No Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• A good understanding of basic test, software, electronics, and mechanical engineering skills with the ability to teach others
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• General understanding of test equipment such as Digital Multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, and computer operating systems
• US Citizen, eligible for Security Clearance (or has an active security clearance)
Desired Skills:
• Experience Supporting Electronics Test Equipment, including Interface Test Adapters (ITA's) and Unit Under Test (UUT) Cabling
• Exposure or experience supporting software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE), including National Instruments LabWindows/ CVI®, TestStand®, LabVIEW®, NI LabVIEW®, FPGA, C/C++, and Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with quality tools like 8D, fishbone diagrams, and statistical process control (SPC)
• Knowledge of manufacturing test methods such as In Circuit Test (ICT), flying probe, functional test, or environmental stress screening (ESS)
• Experience with Verification and Validation of test equipment for US Government products

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
