We are actively searching for an experienced Facilities Engineer for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Assessment, Exercise, and Modeling & Simulation Support (AEMSS) Blue Team. You will work closely with engineers and other inspection teams to conduct assessments of all aspects of the infrastructure and equipment of buildings and facilities. The inspections will increase the customer's awareness of potential vulnerabilities and impacts on mission execution capability and provide recommendations to mitigate or eliminate identified vulnerabilities. An active security clearance at the TS-SCI Eligible level is required for this position .

What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site assessments of facilities, programs, and projects to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation approaches.
- Identify capability and security gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities to drive development of potential system mitigations and architecture solutions to address those issues. Support coordination with multiple organizations, to include, but not limited to the Warfighter, DoD and other external organizations to further define architecture-level sensor, weapon, and command & control mitigations to address architecture, design, test & evaluation gaps.
- Support the coordination and facilitate programmatic actions with external program stakeholders.
- Ensurie proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals
What You Bring to the Table
- A bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accredited college.
- 5+ years of experience as a facilities engineer or similar role.
- Must have and maintain an active government security clearance at the TS-SCI Eligible level.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, SAP and MS Office suite of tools.
- Knowledge of building processes and construction principles and a proficient knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
- Demonstrated willingness to work in a team environment with little direction, and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

- Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience conducting facility inspections
- Familiarity with DoD/DOE security policies and procedures
