Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying mastery of IT principles and expert knowledge of cybersecurity policies (such as Risk Management Framework - RMF) to direct complex, enterprise-level cybersecurity programs for critical weapon systems.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include Optimize the functionality of networks and systems; conducts functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability; implements systems security plans and policies and preventive maintenance schedules.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include schedules maintenance activities during off-peak usage periods; oversees installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of network components.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. - You will serve as the cybersecurity (CS) and information assurance (IA) authorization Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) community interactions, providing strategic guidance to leadership on program risks.
- You will execute the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, ensuring system compliance with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoW IL5 security requirements.
- You will direct and oversee all Information Assurance and Cybersecurity initiatives, including Authority to Operate documentation to develop forward-thinking strategies that mitigate risks and ensure mission resilience.
- You will chair the CPS Cybersecurity Working Group and directs the work of personnel from multiple stakeholder organizations (including industry partners, DoD, and DoE) engaged in Systems Security Engineering (SSE).
- You will manage and oversee system authorization packages and Plan of Action and Milestones within the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to ensure timely remediation of identified risks.
