Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Advising customers and providing support that minimizes interruptions in customer's ability to carry out critical business; 2) Applying project management principles/methods/practices including developing plans/schedules/cost estimating and report on accomplishments; 3) Ensuring that new and existing systems and applications meet all security requirements; 4) Determining the most appropriate methods for delivering services via the internet; 5) Providing organizational IA customer support by diagnosing system malfunctions and resolving reported problems.
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Such experience is typically gained in the IT field or through the performance of work where the primary concern is IT. The employing agency is responsible for defining the specialized experience based on the requirements of the position being filled.
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate degree

- You will provide support to the Customer Technical Representative (CTR) by interpreting and representing the Customer in contract discussions and requirements.
- You will serve as a technical advisor for all customer service problems.
- You will diagnose information technology (IT) customer service requests to determine feasibility of additional requirements with existing capabilities.
- You will provide technical assistance, guidance and solutions for development, installation, usage and sustainment of all current and emerging technologies/telecommunication products and services.
- You will create and manage user accounts with appropriate user's rights to access network systems.
