Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Conduct TEMPEST testing and provide engineering recommendations for system security.
• Evaluate engineering change proposals to ensure TEMPEST integrity.
• Perform lab and field testing of cryptographic devices.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for TEMPEST vulnerabilities.
• Apply expertise in RF Systems, Electrical Engineering, and schematic analysis to design countermeasures against unintentional emissions.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $167k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Ensure TEMPEST testing requirements are defined by the Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA).
• Evaluate engineering change proposal (ECP) packages to ensure TEMPEST integrity.
• Attend technical meetings with device users, customers, and vendor partners.
• Provide TEMPEST lab testing of certified cryptographic devices to meet current National TEMPEST standards.
• Perform TEMPEST Field testing of cryptographic equipment to discover vulnerabilities in secure systems.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support when a cryptographic device has a TEMPEST vulnerability.
• Possess Certified TEMPEST Professional Level II (CTP-II) certification or ability to obtain.
• Apply expertise in RF Systems, Electrical Engineering, or EEE, including understanding unintentional emissions and designing countermeasures.
• Utilize schematic reading and analysis to pinpoint potential emission sources and plan shielding or filters.
• Maintain a TS/SCI - FSP clearance with a current CI polygraph (under 6 years).
