Summary:
• Design, develop, and manage robust software solutions and complex systems.
• Automate critical processes, data flows, and perform Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) activities.
• Administer Linux environments and develop scripting solutions for system automation.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for efficient deployments.
• Provision and manage infrastructure utilizing modern containerization and orchestration tools.
• Monitor system health and performance using advanced visualization and alerting tools.
Qualifications & Compensation:
- Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 7+ years
- Salary: $259k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Develop and manage software applications and system components.
• Design and implement automation for operational processes and data flows.
• Administer and maintain Linux operating environments.
• Script in Bash and Python for system automation, tooling, and data manipulation.
• Develop software solutions primarily using Java and Python.
• Process and analyze Big Data leveraging Apache Spark.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab.
• Provision and manage infrastructure with tools like Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and logs using Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, and Nagios.
• Manage source code version control using Git.
• Develop custom NiFi processors and manage complex dataflows.
• Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Apply knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS, for infrastructure and services.
