Help

• Provides guidance and advises on matters related to the implementation and operational oversight.
• Performs, reviews, special analyses, studies, and evaluations of the operational requirements necessary for the integrated direct and private sector care delivery of health care.
• Actively participates in MCSC market operational meetings and provides policy interpretation and guidance.
• Assists in the identification, analysis, evaluation and monitoring of Business Plan improvement opportunities under the MHS programs.
• Supports the development of Business Plans through analysis of health services data.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing guidance to stakeholders on healthcare delivery processes; analyzing policy to make recommendations; and implementing changes to improve healthcare delivery. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
