Overview
Bowhead seeks a Program Analyst to join our team supporting our MITSM customer in Stafford, VA.
Responsibilities
• Support acquisition teams in preparing, reviewing, updating, maintaining, routing, and approving acquisition documentation
• Assist with market research by identifying vendor sources and drafting market research reports
• Track and manage action items using Government tools, monitor due dates, and ensure timely completion
• Schedule and reserve conference rooms in accordance with local procedures
• Coordinate meetings, including notifications, agendas, logistics, and follow-ups
• Gather inputs for data calls, draft responses, and support Government leadership reviews
• Collect, organize, file, and retrieve records such as reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and memos
• Document and analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into process maps and technical requirements
• Provide recommendations to improve products, services, and processes
• Develop briefings and communication materials for customers, management, and executive stakeholders
• Gather information from subject matter experts to create procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
• Research, write, and edit content to align with project requirements
• Utilize Microsoft and Atlassian tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence to support deliverables and process improvements
• Apply Agile methodology to support PI planning and project execution
• Provide strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience
• At least 2 years of acquisition support experience preferred
• At least 2 years of experience developing or reviewing Project Management plans and activities preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing SharePoint site content, including creation and maintenance of SharePoint pages, document libraries, lists, permissions, and user-facing content
• Demonstrated analytical skills, effective communication, and self-motivation in task execution
• Strong documentation, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including briefing and training abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Experience managing client requirements and small teams
• Strong business presentation and analytical capabilities
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
