Job Description
Position Title: Systems Engineer - Identity & Automation
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Clearance: Top Secret (preferred) or Secret (required)
Position Overview
ISPA Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer focused on identity, core enterprise services, and automation. This position supports a service area that includes Active Directory, identity and access management, PKI, DNS, and related shore services. You will help engineer and sustain foundational systems that authentication, authorization, naming, and trust depend on—while also using Ansible to keep those systems consistent, supportable, and scalable. This is a strong fit for an engineer who understands that enterprise systems engineering is not just about keeping services running; it is about building confidence into the environment through disciplined design and automation.
What You Will Do
Engineer, administer, and sustain identity and core services including AD, IAM-related functions, PKI, DNS, and supporting infrastructure services.
Create and maintain Ansible-based automation for system configuration, baseline enforcement, deployment tasks, and recurring administration activities.
Support account, policy, certificate, naming, and service integrations required by dependent platforms and applications.
Work with cybersecurity and platform teams to improve system hardening, access control, resiliency, and change discipline.
Troubleshoot service dependencies, authentication issues, DNS faults, policy conflicts, and automation execution problems.
Develop clear engineering and operational documentation for administration, support, recovery, and integration.
Technical Environment
Active Directory and core directory services
Identity and access management fundamentals
PKI and certificate lifecycle support
DNS architecture and sustainment
Ansible for Windows and/or hybrid systems automation
Systems hardening, policy management, and baseline control
Integration support across platform, network, and application teams
Required Qualifications
Hands-on systems engineering or administration experience in Windows-centric or hybrid enterprise environments.
Experience supporting one or more of the following at meaningful depth: AD, IAM, PKI, DNS, GPO, or enterprise shore services.
Experience automating systems administration tasks using Ansible or similar tooling.
Strong troubleshooting skills across identity, policy, authentication, and service dependency issues.
Ability to document technical procedures and support a controlled operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with certificate services, privileged access controls, or multi-domain / integrated enterprise environments.
Familiarity with compliance-driven hardening and RMF-aware sustainment practices.
Experience supporting systems that integrate with cyber tooling, platform services, or mission applications.
Why ISPA Technology
Work on meaningful defense and mission-support engineering problems with experienced technical teams.
Contribute across automation, cyber, platforms, networking, integration, and test—not just one narrow lane.
Join a culture that values ownership, technical depth, curiosity, and practical execution.
Live and work in Panama City Beach, Florida, with direct access to a growing technical mission hub.
We are looking for engineers who combine technical depth with practical execution—people who can turn complexity into clarity, and design into dependable results.
