Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Software and Hardware Asset Management:
o Assist with capturing software license requirements for annual procurement.
o Support Program Managers (PMs) to streamline the documentation and tracking of hardware and software assets and matrix support.
o Assist in developing and maintaining configuration management and support agreement databases, ensuring data integrity.
• Configuration Management Engineering:
o Provide configuration management in multiple CS component areas for C5ISR systems.
o Participate in Configuration Control Boards and other relevant forums.
• Data Analysis and Process Improvement:
o Apply data analysis skills to identify opportunities for improving data structures and integration processes.
o Scrutinize data sets; identify and evaluate data anomalies, missing data, and inconsistencies to complete data refinement.
o Develop business process workflows and implement a comprehensive roadmap outlining the evolution and enhancement of configuration management capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in and 5 years of experience performing similar duties in a DoD environment.
• Mid to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and other data analysis features to manipulate and summarize data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• The ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Enterprise License Agreements (ELA) / Enterprise Software Agreements (ESA).
• In-depth knowledge of software licensing models (e.g., core, CPU, enterprise).
• Experience with accounting, maintenance, and budget processes.
• Familiarity with Army Enterprise Software Management Program (AESMP).
• A technical understanding of how to calculate software requirements.
