Boeing is seeking a highly qualified Operations Support Manager to join our BT&E Military Flight Operations team in Seattle, WA.

This role provides critical operational, financial, and compliance support across Boeing's military programs portfolio, helping ensure safe, compliant, and effective execution in support of both Ground and Flight Risk Clause (GFRC) and Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements.

In this role, you will serve as a key strategic partner to BT&E Flight Operations and supported military programs, working across a dynamic, multi-program environment to help drive business performance, maintain operational discipline, and support informed decision-making. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen program execution, support reporting transparency, and help ensure alignment between operational priorities and business objectives.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support Boeing's military portfolio, including Vertical Lift (AH-64 and CH-47), Air Dominance (F-15 and F/A-18), and other assigned programs, ensuring consistent application of program controls standards and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with program management, finance, planning, contracts, engineering, and supply chain teams to support program execution and resolve cost and schedule performance issues
  • Develop, update, and maintain program control procedures, reporting tools, financial tracking methods, and supporting documentation
  • Lead and manage program controls activities including cost tracking, financial forecasting, schedule integration, and earned value analysis across Boeing's military programs
  • Maintain and analyze program performance against cost and schedule baselines, including CPI, SPI, variance analysis, EAC/ETC development, and performance trend reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Boeing policies, internal controls, government contracting requirements, and EVM system requirements
  • Oversee the preparation and validation of monthly program control reports, financial reviews, baseline changes, and variance explanations
  • Serve as a principal liaison with internal stakeholders and government customers on program status, financial health, EVM reporting, and compliance matters
  • Monitor cost and schedule performance trends, identify issues early, and recommend corrective actions or recovery plans
  • Support audits, surveillance reviews, customer assessments, and other compliance-related reviews as required
  • Support program reviews, IPTs, and executive decision-making through clear analysis and actionable insights

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
  • Meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • Experience (paid or unpaid) in: Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics, Contracts/Negotiations, Financial Planning, Estimating and Pricing, Statistics, Operations Research, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • EVM trained / CAM Certified
  • Experience with statistical analysis, specifically performing variance analysis
  • Experience advising Senior/Executive leaders on financial Risks, Issues and Opportunities (RIOs), Estimates at Complete (EACs), and Long Range Business Plans (LRBPs)
  • Experience do you have working with cross-functional value stream stakeholders to resolve complex issues
  • Expertise in program management and dashboarding tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPivot, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience leading teams, producing results and implementing solutions to complex business needs


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant discipline
  • Experience supporting military aircraft, missile, space, or other DoD programs
  • Familiarity with DCMA, DoD EVMS compliance expectations, DFARS, and government surveillance processes
  • Experience with program control tools, financial systems, and schedule integration tools
  • Knowledge of integrated baseline reviews, control account management, and program performance measurement techniques
  • Demonstrated experience supporting audits, customer reviews, and compliance assessments
  • Prior experience working in a complex, multi-program environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of program funding, cost collection, and financial execution processes
  • Experience improving reporting processes, data integrity, and program control discipline
  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required. A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active

Summary pay range: $154,700 - $209,300
