Chipton-Ross is seeking a Product Repair/Mod Technician (Level A) for a contract opportunity in Heath, OH.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes. Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components. Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications. Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations). Works under supervision.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).
WORK HOURS
FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; Ability to work off shift (2nd/3rd).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

- 1 or more years of experience working with tools and following work instructions.
- Basic computer skills required including Microsoft office applications.
- Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if needed.

- Experience in the inspection of parts, components, assemblies or units.
- 1 or more years' experience soldering and assembly of equipment components.
- 1 or more years' experience using handheld tools and/or power tools.
- Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings and specifications.
- 1 or more years working under a microscope.
