Description:
- Deputy Program Manager (DPM) shall report to and provide support to the PM.
- The DPM shall assume all program management responsibilities and tasks in the absence of the PM but is predominantly focused on the tasks outlined below.
- The DPM creates and manages processes that enable Mission Leads and other contract personnel to focus on daily operations.
- The DPM is expected to spend 80% of his/her workweek collocated with the bulk of the CME Workforce.
- The government customer requires the DPM to assume all administrative responsibilities and to alleviate such responsibilities from the Mission Leads.
- DPM is required to maintain awareness of support requirements and leverage all available resources to remove distractions and impediments.
- DPM is only required if exercised as a part of surge.
- The following tasks will be performed in conjunction with the PM:
- Human Resource Management and contract fill-rate
- Hiring and termination processes
- Management of nonoperational disciplinary issues
- Onboarding and in-processing
- Personnel Status (PERSTAT) reports
- Schedule and task performance Oversight
- Timekeeping and timecard approval
- Administrative support to Mission Leads and contract workforce
- Expert knowledge of the intelligence cycle and the analytical process that acts on collection to produce information for intelligence databases and products.
- Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills in order to effectively interface with senior military officials, managers, and subordinates.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Certification as a Program Management Professional (or equivalent).
Job Requirements
Desired experiences :
- Superior understanding of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools with general understanding of GEOINT operations.
- Knowledge of and experience in planning and executing technical studies and reports for computer systems and computer networks.
- Knowledge of and experience with Irregular Warfare concepts and operations.
Education:
- MA or MS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 6 years of management experience, including 6 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services;
- BA/BS degree in Business, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 10 years of management experience, including 6 years of supervisory experience on US Army or DoD programs and projects that provided expert intelligence analysis services.
- Certification as a Program Management Professional (or equivalent).
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.
Location:
- Fort Gordon, GA.
