Job Description
The Rehancement Group, Inc. (TRG) is seeking a Team Lead Research Analyst to provide comprehensive analytical support services for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Information Management Division's (IMD) Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC) Vetting Branch 1 (VB1).
Location: Onsite at the Records Operation Center (ROC): 170 Marcel Drive, Winchester, VA 22602. Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS): 1000 Custer Hollow Road, Clarksburg, WV, 23606.
Hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday-Friday. Contract personnel may work flexible hours based on their needs as long as they are present during IMD core work hours, 9:00am to 2:30pm.
Travel: N/A
Clearance: Active Top-Secret Security clearance with CI Poly eligibility.

On the job training (OJT) and shadowing: All contractor Research Analysts and Team Leads will attend the EVC Academy, via the ROC or CJIS location, to obtain training on the work conducted by both branches of the EVC.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Facilitate ongoing mentoring programs to enhance team skills and knowledge in analytical methodologies and tools, foster professional growth, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Allocate tasks effectively among team members, balancing workloads to meet deadlines.
- Conduct thorough review of team members' searches and analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform a review of response packages before government quality assurance reviews, maintaining high-quality standards
- Ensure all vetting activities conducted by team members comply with relevant laws, regulations, and agency policies, including data protection and security protocols.
- When a Team Lead's regular workload allows, they will complete vetting requests in line with the roles and responsibilities of a Research Analyst.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top-Secret clearance with CI poly eligibility is required.
- A minimum of (3) or more years of hands-on experience in research, analysis, or investigations, specifically in a government or security-related environment is required.
- A minimum of 2 or more years of experience with the FBI's Information Management Division's (IMD) Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC) is required.
- Strong analytical skills to assess if information is identifiable and derogatory, preferably within a security clearance, law enforcement, or intelligence context.
- Ability to analyze complex data and extract key information that might be relevant to risk assessments or background investigations.
- Report writing experience, specifically the ability to draft clear, concise, and well-supported findings in formal report formats.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly and accurately draft detailed findings and reports for submission to relevant agencies.
