Technical Specialist-MAS Developer

Must be a US Citizen who currently possesses a Secret Clearance. This is a remote position. Travel maybe required.

Statement of Work:
Demonstration of the IBM Maximo tool and assessment of system integrations and business processes that support improved installation ‐ level energy and utilities management, data analytics, and operational oversight. The demonstration will evaluate interoperability with Army enterprise systems, transition considerations, and potential energy ‐ related efficiency, cost ‐ reduction, and performance improvement opportunities.

Task Description:
Candidates should have a basic familiarity with IBM Maximo or a willingness to learn, along with an understanding of general functional and technical concepts and the ability to research new topics as needed. They should have exposure to foundational coding or algorithm concepts through coursework, internships, or projects, as well as a basic understanding of databases and data organization. In this role, individuals will assist with software testing and quality checks, support the identification and tracking of potential risks, and contribute ideas to help solve problems with guidance from more senior team members. They will collaborate with others to develop and support specific components of a program, help integrate different elements, and participate in testing to ensure the overall solution functions as intended, including validating outputs using sample datasets.

• Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
• High School & 5+ years of related experience, 6 years' work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

• Basic understanding of Maximo 7.x configuration and support concepts (e.g., Integration Framework, reporting tools, or scripting)
• Familiarity with Maximo tools such as Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer, or Database Configuration is a plus
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python, with exposure to databases (e.g., SQL)
• Interest in learning Maximo deployment practices and pursuing relevant certifications over time
• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
