About The Role

We are hiring a Technical Support Coordinator with extensive experience working with Army and the Joint community to further support the organization's ability to protect Army aircraft through requirements development, acquisition, and program funding coordination at all levels to include HQ Dept or the Army. Applicants must have strong communication and writing skills to support senior program manager-level discussions and briefings related all aspects of the material development and acquisition process for all Aircraft Survivability programs within the organization's portfolio. The Technical Support Coordinator will play a critical role in assisting senior leadership in navigating through the complex Dept of War environment to ensure success both in short and long-term efforts.

What you'll do:

• Research, review, update, develop, and provide recommendations for ASE program requirements including acquisition documentation, Contract Requirements Package (CRP) documentation, memorandums of understanding, acquisition reports, acquisition program plans and strategies, program schedules, program milestone decision documentation, technical reviews, and ASE program initiatives for research & development, and integration support services in the execution of contractual actions.
• Interpret and recommend proposed implementation of program policies and procedures.
• Provide technical input and expertise in the timely resolution of complex technical/safety ASE system problems/issues in the execution of numerous contractual actions.
• Provide technical expertise and advice in acquisition integration and coordination efforts by reviewing, compiling, and documenting schedules, acquisition strategies, work statements, system studies decision coordination papers, program baseline documents, test and evaluation data, and material release documents IAW the Department of Defense (DoD) Directives 5000 series, DoD Instructions.
• Support development of integrated schedules depicting activities for PMO ASE efforts and programs.
• Schedule support shall include critical path analysis, schedule status reporting, and schedule risk analysis.
• Provide input and recommendations to develop, compile, review, and document ASE system studies, decision/information papers, program plans, and program baseline documents to support Milestone/budgetary decisions.
• Provide input and recommendations for in-depth analysis and assessment of acquisition data, program risks, and risk mitigation plans.
• Provide input in the preparation of briefing/presentation material in relation to program objectives, budgetary constraints, schedules, and technical requirements.
• Make reccomendations to PMO ASE for briefings during conferences, meetings, and various Program Reviews.
• Provide input and recommendations to draft presentations, schedules, risk management programs, and track tasks/action items.
• Prepare briefings, notes, minutes, and action items for program reviews and meetings.
• Provide support to PMO ASE in the development of briefings, program schedules, design specification, and capability requirements.
• Participate, provide input, advice, and recommendations to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) which may include members of PMO ASE, USG matrix support personnel, prime Contractor personnel, and other Contractor personnel.
• Support the IPT meetings in person or via Video Teleconference (VTC), Secured Video Teleconference (SVTC), via telephone conference or electronic media such as MS Teams.
• Review, make recommendations, and provide analysis and support for development of the Concept of Operations (CONOPS), program plans, and acquisition strategies; program technical risk assessments; and collection, management and archival of all collected and analyzed data.
• Plan, develop, and conduct analysis of programs or studies to establish the feasibility of systems/subsystems/components meeting requirements and/or adequacy of design.
• Interface with DEVCOM, ASA(ALT) PEO/PMs, other military Services weapon system managers, foreign partners, and the Army Aviation combat developer, to assess the current and future mission requirements for ASE programs.
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings between PMO ASE, PEO Aviation platform PMOs, CCDC AvMC Systems Readiness Directorate (Airworthiness Division), other ASE stakeholders, and system contractors that will allow technical interchange to field ASE capabilities to the End User.
• Work with Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and University Affiliated Research Centers (UARCs) to assess future technology improvements and investments for PMO ASE and assess/resolve technical issues relative to PM ASE Products.

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
• U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Secret Clearance

Desired experience:

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present complex technical aircraft survivability concepts and information to leadership and diverse audiences.
• Excellent technical writing skills for creating comprehensive aircraft survivability equipment briefings and white papers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work without supervision and manage multiple priorities independently.

Details

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
