Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support our client in Concord, CA. The Construction Project Manager will lead final design, construction execution, and successful implementation of complex commercial - industrial, renewable, and efficiency projects, including direct oversight of medium-voltage electrical power generation work at a federal installation.
Responsibilities of Construction Project Manager include:
· Lead daily onsite administrative and technical management of federal construction projects
· Collaborate with engineering and construction teams on design development, scope, cost estimating, scheduling, commissioning, and startup
· Manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality, schedule adherence, and cost control
· Oversee medium-voltage electrical construction activities and complex facility infrastructure upgrades
· Implement site safety and health plans in alignment with OSHA and jurisdictional requirements
· Track budgets, job cost accounting, expenditures, and payment approvals
· Provide regular project status reporting, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
Qualifications for the Construction Project Manager include:
· Associate's degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience
· 5+ years of construction project management experience supporting complex electrical, mechanical, or industrial power projects
· Experience with federal construction projects and regulated job sites
· Demonstrated expertise managing scope, schedule, and budget across multiple deliverables
· Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical/mechanical codes
· Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, MS Project or P6, and AutoCAD
· Valid driver's license and ability to review confidential U.S. security information
Compensation for the Construction Project Manager includes:
· Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
· Per diem expenses paid weekly
