Job description: Cyber Security Architecture
Role: Deep Technology Cyber Security Practitioner
Reports to: Client Services Program Manager

Role Overview
This role is responsible for architecting, designing, and enforcing secure, resilient, and manageable endpoint, operating system, and hybrid infrastructure solutions. The position requires deep technical expertise across OS, endpoint security, cloud, and identity, with a strong understanding of the evolving AI and cybersecurity threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect, design, implement, and test resilient security solutions across complex and distributed systems.
• Serve as lead architect for Windows, macOS, endpoint security, MDM, and remote access solutions.
• Apply security best practices to harden operating systems, maintain secure configurations, and reduce host attack surface.
• Define and document security policies, standards, and procedures for OS and endpoint security to meet regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to security strategy discussions addressing emerging threats, including AI ecosystem risks.
• Design shared services, workflows, and processes for on‑premises and hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) environments.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to design secure workloads in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft SaaS platforms such as M365.
• Define and document requirements for hardware and software upgrades across enterprise platforms.
• Design integrated security controls covering authentication, authorization, encryption, data protection, and workflows.
• Design security solutions for monitoring, logging, IAM, detection, and preventive controls.
• Advise on the use of commercial and open‑source security tools and technologies.
• Oversee vulnerability mitigation and remediation activities across technical operations teams.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, risks, and vulnerabilities impacting enterprise services.
• Partner closely with operations, threat intelligence, software development, and risk management teams.
• Define KPIs, OKRs, and metrics to demonstrate reduction of attack surface and improved platform resiliency.
• Participate in project and implementation meetings, advising on secure application and infrastructure configurations.
Skills and Experience
• 8+ years of experience in IT and security operations with a strong focus on systems and endpoint security.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams or serving as technical lead for projects and operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows OS, macOS, virtual desktop infrastructure, remote access, and Azure‑based SaaS solutions such as M365.
• Proficiency with configuration management and endpoint management tools.
• Strong ability to influence technical teams and business stakeholders to reduce attack surface.
• Ability to understand complex enterprise environments, identity architectures, access controls, and least‑privilege models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
