Structural Analysis Engineer (Level 4)
Location: Fort Worth, TX (On-Site)
Clearance: Active Secret Required

Overview
Seeking senior-level Structural Analysis Engineers to support critical airframe programs focused on both new design development and modification of existing aircraft structures. This role plays a key part in ensuring structural integrity, performance, and compliance across primary and secondary airframe components.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in airframe stress analysis, including hands-on experience with both metallic and composite structures, and a strong foundation in FEA tools such as NASTRAN and PATRAN. This position requires the ability to perform detailed hand calculations, interpret complex engineering drawings and models, and contribute to MRB activities supporting production and design changes.
You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to analyze, validate, and optimize structural designs in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
• Perform stress analysis on primary and secondary airframe structures
• Support new design development as well as modifications to existing structures
• Conduct MRB stress analysis for metallic and composite components
• Perform hand calculations and Excel-based structural analysis
• Utilize FEA tools to analyze structural integrity and performance
• Interpret detail, assembly, and installation drawings/models
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to support structural solutions
• Support design validation and ensure compliance with engineering standards
Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in airframe primary structure layout and sizing
• 10+ years of hands-on structural analysis using hand calculations and Excel
• 5+ years of recent experience with CATIA V5
• Strong experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN and PATRAN
• Experience supporting MRB stress analysis (metallic and composite structures)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
Nice to Have
• Experience with SLIM (pre-processing) and TMP Vision (post-processing)
• Familiarity with IDAT and 3DX
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments
