Description:
You will be the Configuration Management Lead for the Product Engineering & Systems Integration Team. Our team drives the integrity of product baselines, delivers disciplined change control processes, and ensures that every engineering modification is traceable, compliant, and aligned with customer commitments.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Configuration Management Lead you will own the end to end change control lifecycle-facilitating Configuration Change Board (CCB) meetings, scrutinizing engineering change packages for technical and programmatic impact, and safeguarding the accuracy of our configuration data. You'll work side by side with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and support to keep the product baseline clean and delivery schedules on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and moderate weekly Configuration Change Board sessions, driving timely decisions and documenting outcomes.
• Review, evaluate, and flag engineering change proposals for technical, schedule, cost, and compliance implications.
• Author and maintain change orders, ensuring proper authorizations and complete documentation for both internal teams and subcontractors.
• Oversee the Document Release process-manage version control, baseline releases, and distribution to stakeholders.
• Administer Data Management and Configuration Status Accounting, guaranteeing that baselines, revisions, and status reports are accurate and readily accessible.
• Produce clear, concise change impact reports and status dashboards for program leadership.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and support to align change implementation with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Enforce configuration management policies, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies to maintain compliance.
• Mentor junior configuration staff and act as the subject matter expert for configuration related queries across the organization.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Orlando, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a Final Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior experience leading Configuration Change Board Meetings
- Prior experience in data management, configuration status accounting and document release process.
- Possess good computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Active Secret security clearance with latest investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in SAP. - Expertise in document release in Windchill PLM and CDRL/SDRL processing.
- Familiarity with markings (including export control markings), formatting and handling of documentation.
- Experience with SharePoint management and control
- Individual must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
