The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the execution of supply chain strategies to ensure the success of the ECS product lines. Leading a dedicated team of Supply Chain Planners and Material Planning Coordinators, the SCM ensures that program objectives regarding quality, cost, and schedule are met with precision.
The SCM serves as the primary escalation point and strategic liaison between the Supply Chain function and key partners, including Operations Program Management, Procurement, Subcontracts, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Quality. This role balances rigorous compliance with BAE Systems policies and procedures while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118747 - $201870
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Lead, develop, and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies within the function and across the enterprise to drive business and program success.
- Provide direct oversight and leadership to the Planning team to ensure all performance objectives are achieved.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalation and resolution between the Planning team and cross-functional partners.
- Ensure all supply chain activities are executed in compliance with BAE Systems internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Operations Program Management, Procurement, Subcontracts, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Quality.
- Synchronize material requirements with production schedules to minimize risk and optimize throughput.
- Lead integrated team meetings to align supply chain capabilities with program milestones.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the team, focusing on career growth and performance excellence.
- Implement and promote robust training initiatives to enhance the technical proficiency of the team.
- Champion the Supply Chain Guiding Principles: being Trusted, Innovative, and Bold.
- Cultivate a service-centric, accountable, and team-oriented environment characterized by a Continuous Improvement mindset.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
- Proven leadership experience:
- Ability to manage and motivate personnel
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Exemplary organizational skills
- Strategic/Critical Thinking
- Data driven decision making
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to create and deliver program presentations to internal and external Customers.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Security Clearance
- People Management experience
- Knowledge of MMAS Regulations
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Certification.
- Root Cause/Corrective Action Skills
- Experience in a complex, multifaceted manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with defense aerospace industry & regulations
