Job Description
Everforth ECS is seeking a Quality Specialist to work in the National Capital Region covering the Pentagon, Falls Church, and Fairfax . Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

The War Data Platform (WDP) is a key initiative within the U.S. Department of War's (DoW) AI-First strategy introduced in early 2026. The WDP separates business and financial data from operational warfighting data, aiming to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on the battlefield. The WDP extends to Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret environments, and supports collaboration between Combatant Commands, Joint Staff directorates, Senior Executive Service leaders, and operational analysts.

• The Quality Specialist executes Quality Management Plan workflows across the WDP Core Integration Task Order, applying structured review, defect tracking, and corrective action disciplines to ensure that Government-facing deliverables, audit evidence packages, and program documentation consistently meet established content standards, acceptance criteria, and compliance requirements. In this role, the specialist contributes to a continuous audit-readiness posture by maintaining traceable review records, supporting root cause analysis activities, and updating dashboards and controlled repositories that sustain program transparency and Government oversight visibility.
• Executes the Quality Management Plan inside documented workflows that guide preparation, review, approval, and submission.
• Applies content and format standards and acceptance criteria to Monthly Status Reports, Project Management Plan updates, transition artifacts, and SOC1 evidence.
• Uses checklists to verify completeness, accuracy, and template conformance across narrative, figures, tables, and attachments.
• Records review findings in a log, assigns findings to owners, tracks status to closure, and maintains on-time and accuracy metrics for contractor-controllable steps.
• Captures defects, gathers facts, supports root cause analysis, drafts corrective and preventive actions, and updates evidence packages so auditors can see what changed and why.
• Updates dashboards, report packets, and version histories in controlled repositories to preserve traceability for Government oversight and Program Management Reviews.
• Produces accurate, audit-ready, and compliant documentation that supports mission execution and task performance across the Task Order and delivers measurable improvements in cycle time, defect prevention, and submission quality for command-level reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
• Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
• 3 or more years of progressive experience in quality assurance, quality control, audit support, or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated experience supporting structured documentation review and compliance activities in a federal or defense contracting environment.
• Demonstrated experience executing Quality Management Plan workflows, including application of document-specific acceptance criteria, reviewer checklists, and template conformance validation across Government-facing deliverables such as Monthly Status Reports, Project Management Plans, and transition documentation.
• Proven ability to maintain quality review logs and finding registers, including assignment of defects to responsible owners, tracking of remediation status through closure, and reporting of on-time and accuracy metrics for contractor-controllable deliverable steps.
• Experience supporting Corrective and Preventive Action programs, including fact gathering, root cause analysis support, CAPA drafting, evidence package updates, and verification of effectiveness documentation that supports external auditor engagement and Government oversight transparency.
• Experience supporting SOC1 Type 2 audit readiness activities, including organization and validation of Provided by Client evidence packages, policy documentation review, and tracking of corrective actions through resolution in alignment with annual attestation requirements.
• Proficiency with document management and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint Online, Confluence, and Microsoft Office, including demonstrated experience maintaining version-controlled, audit-ready repositories that preserve traceable approval histories and submission records accessible to Government oversight personnel.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution.
• Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management).
Desired Skills
• Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
• Familiarity with the Modernization, Innovation, and Quality Cell governance construct, including working knowledge of Quality Assurance gate integration at key program phases, real-time performance dashboard management using tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and participation in Quarterly Integrated Planning sessions that validate or reprioritize quality improvement activities based on mission metrics and program needs.
• Background supporting quality activities within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or DevSecOps delivery environment, including familiarity with automated quality gate integration within CI/CD pipelines, sprint-based defect tracking workflows, and alignment of quality control activities with Program Increment planning cycles and continuous delivery cadences.
• Relevant professional certification in quality management or audit, such as the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or equivalent credential, demonstrating a structured and standards-based approach to defect prevention, corrective action management, and quality governance within a federal program context.
• Familiarity with electronic Corrective Action Request management practices, including experience tracking corrective and preventive action items within enterprise workflow tools such as Jira or ServiceNow, applying structured root cause tagging, routing findings to accountable owners, and enforcing evidence-based closure verification aligned to Quality Management Plan requirements.
• Prior experience contributing to Quarterly Program Management Review preparation, including demonstrated ability to compile quality performance data, summarize defect trends and corrective action status, and produce dashboard updates and report packet inputs that support command-level decision-making and Government oversight briefings.
