USSPACECOM J7 Training and Education Advisor
KBR is hiring highly skilled and motivated candidate to join a high-performance team and provide support to U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) as a Training and Education Advisor. An active TS/SCI clearance is MANDATORY.
As a Training and Education Advisor, you will support the USSPACECOM J7 Joint Training and Education Division in the planning, development, and analysis of Command-wide training, education, professional development, academic research, and organizational development programs and processes.

This range is for Colorado only.
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.

As a Training and Education Advisor, you will support the USSPACECOM J7 Joint Training and Education Division in the planning, development, and analysis of Command-wide training, education, professional development, academic research, and organizational development programs and processes.
Duties include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in development, refinement, updating, and tracking the annual USSPACECOM Campaign of Learning.
- Support campaign of learning events to integrate command training and education priorities with exercises, wargames, and experiments to achieve individual and collective training goals. Example campaign of learning events include the development or facilitation of the following: exercise academics, academic engagement enterprise efforts, lectures, webinars, seminars, and classes focused on enhancing USSPACECOM personnel knowledge and understanding of friendly and adversary capabilities and limitations, the operational environment, and other specific topics as designated by the commander.
- Track command progression and completion of the campaign of learning and provide routine status reports to the J7 and the command.
- Provide support to and provide analysis of the Academic Engagement Enterprise (AEE) network to guide targeted collaboration opportunities and inform specific assessments in space research, experimentation, and technology development.
- Coordinate and execute AEE symposiums and other events to bring various military, government, and academic organizations together to provide a platform for collaboration and innovation and build vital research relationships.
- Develop command critical research questions to drive space operations research across all levels of Professional Military Education throughout the Department of War.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active Top Secret clearance with SCI, ACCM and SAP eligibility, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
- Extensive experience in initiating and/or developing Government specified content for USSPACECOM J7 training and education programs, or similar and relevant Combatant Command / HHQ / Joint Staff / OSD experience.
- Advanced capability initiating and developing requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs.
- Advanced experience providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff. Experience providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements.
- Experience identifying challenges, making recommendations to the client and providing assistance and support at the operational and strategic level.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Extensive experience developing, memorandums, talking papers, staff packages, and other DoW correspondence.
- Extensive experience developing senior level briefings. Experience briefing and interacting with senior (GO/FLAG) level officer and senior civilians.
- Experience coordinating between internal and external staff agencies, to ensure an integrated effort.
- Current and relevant space / joint training and education knowledge and background.
- Previous experience on a CCMD, MAJCOM, HHQ, Joint Staff, or OSD staff.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher required; 15+ years relevant experience within the DoW in lieu of degree.
- Completion of JPME I is highly desired, and JPME II is preferred.
Desired:
- Master's Degree or higher is highly desired.
