Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the Program Acquisition Executive - Fires (PAE) Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) Product Office (PdO) at the Transformation Lessons Learned Manager (TLLM) in Fort Sill, OK providing subject matter expertise on air defense radar systems to include the Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS), Sentinel, the Army Long Range Persistent Sensor (ALPS).
  • Responsible to advise on the requirements, fielding, operations, maintenance, and logistical constraints of emerging sensor capabilities.
  • Responsible to liaise with the STARE PdO, TLLM, receiving organizations, material developers, and external organizations as required to assist in communicating user needs and concerns.
  • Responsible for leading working groups and integrated product teams as required.
  • Prepare additional written products (reports, information papers and executive summaries) to shape and execute TLLM priorities and positions.
  • Fort Sill, Oklahoma based position


Basic Qualifications
  • US citizenship required
  • 20+ years of Army Air Defense weapon systems of systems operational planning and employment experience in real-world application
  • 10+ years of experience in advising Army Senior Leaders on AMD operations and maintenance
  • Experience in the integration of training systems, doctrine, and personnel policies for the AMD modernization effort
  • Experienced in engaging and working across support organizations and external stakeholders
  • Secret clearance required
  • Ability to travel (generally 25-35%) in support of air defense modernization efforts


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced with System of System operations and configuration
  • Experience with and working knowledge of the DoD Army acquisition process
  • Experience briefing technical material to leadership / stakeholders
  • Bachelor's Degree
