Job Description

Duties

  • You will design and implement IT architecture, technical changes, and processes to meet efficiency and resource goals.
  • You will coordinate with various technical teams, program managers, and mission partner organizations to identify root-cause and contributing factors and to implement suitable solutions.
  • You will ensure proposed and implemented solutions comply with all cybersecurity guidelines and requirements.
  • You will plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, maintenance of hardware, software, and platform systems, communication, networks, and information security to ensure the availability and security of systems, networks, and data.
  • You will serve as Technical Advisor to aid and assist program and dept managers in designing, planning, developing, testing, operating, and maintaining new and existing information technology programs, systems, applications, and services.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 651-Enterprise Architect, proficiency level Advanced the incumbent is required to obtain/maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating the design, implementation, or maintenance of enterprise structural framework to meet organizational Information Technology goals and ensure compliance with established security policies and procedures. Examples of qualifying experience may include: demonstrating a technical ability to perform systems engineering for new and existing IT systems, administering IT systems within existing commercial cloud environment, or displaying strong indicators of technical ability through Professional-level cloud certifications such as CISSO, CISSP, GCIA, GCSA, GCLD, GICSP, ISSAP, and/or ISSEP.Additionally, your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
