Overview
Job Title: Task Lead Location: MacDill AFB, FL Overview:Rivet Operations Company is seeking a Task Lead to support MacDill Air Force Base in training readiness integration and governance. The Task Lead (Senior) serves as the primary on-site lead for daily synchronization of workforce activities, monitoring output quality, ensuring timely execution, validating personnel readiness, and managing global contractor deployment. Interfaces directly with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on operational matters. Responsibilities:
• Maintain real-time visibility of personnel location, task status, and surge readiness
• Monitor execution risk, mission coverage gaps, staffing continuity, and workload balance
• Report vacancies within 24 hours and coordinate fill actions
• Validate and approve personnel travel plans before submission
• Ensure personnel use cost-effective travel methods and track differences between approved and actual travel costs
• Validate that contractor activities align with Government-approved timelines
• Ensure deliverables meet standards of accuracy, professionalism, and timeliness
• Provide weekly execution status updates to the Program Manager
• Identify risk and provide mitigation recommendations
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• Associate's degree in business, management, or related field OR equivalent contract operations leadership experience
• 5-7+ years operations management or team leadership on a DoD/federal services contract
• Direct customer-facing experience with Government representatives (COR/functional lead)
• Proven ability to lead daily on-site execution at a secure installation
• Working knowledge of government services contract execution
• Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and interpersonal
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues
• Must be proficient in the use of Power Point, Excel, Word, Access, (Outlook Microsoft Office Suite) Security: Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.
