(Technical Targeter - Virtual Operations) Cyber Technical Analys

At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Cyber Technical Analyst, a typical day will include the following duties:

GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced expert Cyber Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the below:

1. The resource will design and carry out simulated operations to support various mission areas and their associated operational objectives.
2. The resource will conduct research on complex computer networks to support simulated operations, with the goal of identifying potential vulnerabilities and opportunities for cyber analysis and strategic engagement.
3. The resource will support broader cybersecurity and interagency requirements related to strategic operations and collaborate with partners across various mission areas to identify and develop advanced techniques to enhance and implement strategic initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in strategic operations and human intelligence collections, along with a background in managing digital or simulated environments. Strong grasp of security protocols and risk management principles.
• Demonstrated experience using social networking sites, personally and professionally.
• Demonstrated experience performing targeting form the Intelligence Community.
• Demonstrated experience in open-source research skills to include the use of social networking sites.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing the internet for operational purposes with proficiency in operating various software applications (including but not limited to email clients, web browsers, security software, and productivity tools), navigating between different software and networks, and staying up to date with current online platforms and social media trends.
• Demonstrated experience with privacy-enhancing technologies and methods for maintaining online anonymity.
• Demonstrated experience with interagency coordination and approval processes, as well as drafting formal communications for senior leadership review.
• Demonstrated experience with tools, databases, and networks to learn and/or operate.
• Demonstrated experience in the cultural/technical/counterintelligence knowledge of the China or Russian target, and Russian or Mandarin Chinese language proficiency.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated experience with specialized training programs for operational or technical skills.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior operational leadership on strategic initiatives or sensitive projects.

Education Requirement

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

Experience Requirement

• 8-10 years of experience
