• Training (1 week): 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
• After training: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician I to support manufacturing operations at our Dover, NJ facility. This position involves handling materials, maintaining organization in production areas, and supporting inventory and floor operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible to take on new tasks.
Job Responsibilities

• Receive, unbox, and inspect incoming wax materials and cores
• Assist with unloading incoming molds
• Verify containers/boxes are fully emptied before returning to suppliers
• Organize incoming and outgoing material areas
• Move materials between stockroom and production floor
• Collect and return empty boxes/containers from presses and work cells
• Support end-of-month inventory activities (wax and cores)
• Assist with outsourcing tasks and general production floor support

Required Skills & Abilities

• Intermediate computer skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must pass visual acuity testing
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new tasks
• Must successfully obtain required certifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
• Position requires access to export-controlled items
• No relocation assistance provided
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Dover, NJ
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Certifications in post-cast areas preferred
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English

EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Requirements

• Follow all facility, corporate, and regulatory EHS policies
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report workplace injuries, illnesses, and safety concerns promptly
• Participate in all required EHS training
