Pay Rate: $127 - $132/hr
Job Description:
As a member of the ANS department you'll get to apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo and DOORS to support development of a system architecture, conduct functional and trade-study analyses, and translate customer requirements into detailed specifications across the full product lifecycle-from concept through disposal.
Responsibilities
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Basic Qualifications for Engineer Systems 3
Bachelor's degree in Systems, Software, or related STEM degree field with 5 years of experience; or 3 years experience with a Master's (MS) degree; or 1 year experience with a STEM PhD
Experience in systems engineering
Experience in system requirements development, management, and analysis
Experience with MBSE, software design, or demonstrated ability to work with software-aided design tools
The ability to adhere to Program security requirements while performing work
The ability to effectively communicate with engineers and management from multiple disciplines
Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills
Must be a US Citizen
CLEARANCE: A current/active DoD Secret clearance.
Must currently have SAP or must be able to obtain and maintain SAP
Preferred Qualifications for Engineer Systems 3
Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Engineering
An active DoD Top Secret clearance
Working knowledge of MBSE tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody, Sparx EA, and/or Enterprise Architect
Experience working on military / spacecraft systems
Experience with complex system development on large programs
Experience in developing, managing, and decomposing requirements
Experience in system architecture, CONOPs, or model-based system engineering
Experience in ICD, IRS, and IDD development and integration
Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders
Agile Systems Engineering Experience
Experience in Cost Account Management (CAM)
Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages
Proficiency with the DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks
Multifaceted in technical management
SysML Certification
INCOSE Participation or CSEP certification
