We provide critical marine support services to the U.S. Navy, managing and maintaining the Inactive Ship fleet across multiple locations, including Pearl Harbor.

We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to support the cleanliness and upkeep of our Pearl Harbor facilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of offices, restrooms, storerooms, and other assigned facilities throughout the Pearl Harbor site.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing floors, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows and surfaces.
• Emptying trash receptacles and ensuring common areas remain clean and organized.
• Restocking restroom and cleaning supplies as needed and notifying management when inventory is low.
• Operating janitorial equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
• Displaying appropriate warning signs for wet floors and maintaining safe working conditions.
• Reporting safety or health concerns identified during daily work activities to management immediately.
• Following all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Working independently and professionally while supporting a positive work environment.
• Performing other duties as assigned in support of site operations.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum:

• One (1) year of janitorial or custodial experience.
• Familiarity with general janitorial equipment and cleaning procedures.
• Ability to operate a high-speed floor buffer.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong reliability and commitment to workplace cleanliness and safety.

Preferred:

• Experience working in an industrial, government, or commercial facility environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally, with average lifting around 30 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to operate electrical and gasoline-powered cleaning equipment safely.
