About The Role
Peraton seeks an Enterprise Architect to support the J7 Executive Agent (EA) for Cyber Training Ranges in coordination with DAMO-Strategic Operations. The DoD EA for Cyber Training Ranges will develop, coordinate, and integrate plans to synchronize activities across the designated cyber training ranges and establish appropriate training infrastructure architectures and standards in order to provide a cohesive set of training resources (e.g. facilities, capabilities, and workforce) needed to ensure that DoD has a realistic, scalable, and persistent cyber range architecture. Location: Lithicum, MD.

Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
Peraton seeks an Enterprise Architect to support the J7 Executive Agent (EA) for Cyber Training Ranges in coordination with DAMO-Strategic Operations. The DoD EA for Cyber Training Ranges will develop, coordinate, and integrate plans to synchronize activities across the designated cyber training ranges and establish appropriate training infrastructure architectures and standards in order to provide a cohesive set of training resources (e.g. facilities, capabilities, and workforce) needed to ensure that DoD has a realistic, scalable, and persistent cyber range architecture. Location: Lithicum, MD.
Tasks include:
- Collaborate (onsite) with the DoW EA for Cyber Test Ranges, to establish the architectures and interoperability standards for the designated cyber training ranges.
- Assess database architecture development requirements.
- Recommend mitigation or countermeasures to resolve integration issues related to the implementation of new systems within the existing designated range infrastructure.
- Develop and implement standards for Department of War (DoW) cyber training range network architecture
- Support the EA to develop a Biennial Integrated Plan to meet requirements specified by HQDA, G-3/5/7 DAMO-SO and USCYBERCOM, the training community, and the research, development, testing and evaluation community.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Will consider 10 years with Associates, or 12 years with HS.
- Able to observe and collate a cyber range capabilities/data for enterprise-level reference and interagency collaboration
- Experience in documenting enterprise architecture for Smart Books and other distributable material.
- Experience participating in or executing cyber training ranges.
- Requires excellent communication, collaboration, and team management abilities.
- Requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Requires travel and adherence to contract-specific travel procedures.
- U.S Citizenship required.
- DoD Clearance TS SCI with ability to obtain Polygraph, and MEAD clearance.
