Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA
Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) REQUIRED
Certification: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or Above REQUIRED
Position Overview
GES is seeking a Senior Network Engineer (SME) to lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of secure enterprise network infrastructure supporting Pentagon operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, configure, and maintain Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Stratix network devices
· Develop network architecture diagrams and implementation plans
· Support LAN, WLAN, and SDN environments
· Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
· Support SAN and virtualization integration
· Automate network tasks using scripting
· Maintain DoD STIG compliance and cybersecurity posture
· Utilize ACAS and support RMF processes
· Provide technical leadership and engineering oversight
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
· 10+ years of network engineering experience
· Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, subnetting
· Experience in DoD network environments and compliance standards
