Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) REQUIRED Certification: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or Above REQUIRED
Position Overview
Global Enterprise Services, LLC (GES) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (SME) to serve as the technical authority for enterprise systems infrastructure supporting mission-critical Department of Defense (DoD) operations at the Pentagon.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as SME for Windows Server (2008R2–2016) and Windows 7/10 environments
· Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, SCCM, and enterprise tools
· Support VMware ESX/vSphere environments and SAN infrastructure
· Perform system implementation, integration, and lifecycle management
· Maintain system performance with a 98% uptime target
· Develop system documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams
· Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs, patching, and cybersecurity requirements
· Utilize ACAS for vulnerability tracking and compliance
· Support RMF (DIARMF) processes
· Provide advanced troubleshooting and Tier III support
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
· 7+ years of experience in systems engineering
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft enterprise environments
· Experience with VMware virtualization technologies
· Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity frameworks
