Certification: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or Above REQUIRED
Position Overview
GES is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead enterprise‑level system administration activities in support of mission‑critical Pentagon operations. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to maintain secure, compliant, and highly available systems in a high‑visibility environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced system administration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting across enterprise systems
Lead patching, upgrades, and compliance initiatives to maintain system integrity
Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
Ensure STIG compliance and maintain a strong cybersecurity posture
Support system implementations, modernization efforts, and infrastructure improvements
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior administrators
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
5+ years of progressive system administration experience
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
Strong experience with enterprise systems, virtualization, and Windows Server technologies
Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) REQUIRED
Certification: DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or Above REQUIRED
