The Security Specialist Senior Lead will assist in developing and administering industrial security procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documentation and equipment while preparing manuals and outline regulations and establish procedures.

The Security Specialist Senior Lead will assist in developing and administering industrial security procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documentation and equipment while preparing manuals and outline regulations and establish procedures.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Study and implement federal security regulations applicable to company operations, ensuring continuous compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed manuals that outline security regulations, and establish and maintain procedures for the proper handling, storage, and recordkeeping of sensitive materials. Manage and grant personnel and visitor access to restricted records and assets according to established security protocols.
- Develop, administer, and maintain industrial security procedures for the protection of classified or proprietary materials, documentation, and equipment in accordance with government and industry standards.
- Conduct security education and awareness classes for personnel, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence to security protocols and procedures.
- Investigate security incidents or violations, prepare detailed reports documenting findings, and recommend and implement preventive actions to address and mitigate future security risks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications - Here's What You Need:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Previous military experience is preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of related laws and regulations, with demonstrated ability to ensure organizational compliance.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.
- Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.

- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

Working Conditions:
- Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite in the main office.
- Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
- Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
