Job Description
A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required to start, but will be processed for one; U.S. citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with current Secret or TS level clearance.
Summary:
• Develop and implement complex software capabilities for advanced computer-based systems.
• Utilize expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks including Java, Kotlin, and Spring.
• Design and build robust web services, including Restful Web Services, and microservices architectures.
• Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle within Agile methodologies.
• Leverage a comprehensive suite of development tools, cloud platforms, and big data technologies.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Years of experience: 5+ years
Salary: $224k+ yearly compensation
Job Description:
• Design, develop, and test complex software capabilities.
• Implement solutions using Java and Kotlin with the Spring framework.
• Develop and integrate Web Services and Restful Web Services, including Microservices architecture.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for efficient software development.
• Perform software testing and ensure high-quality code.
• Utilize Software Configuration Management tools such as Git, Nexus, and Maven.
• Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Leverage cloud platforms including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Work with data storage solutions like Elasticsearch and MongoDB.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Big Data platforms and cloud repositories.
• Collaborate effectively using JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.
• Operate proficiently within a Linux development environment.
