However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

BAE Systems is seeking a Quality Inspection Supervisor, supporting operations in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
You will:
- Lead and supervise a team of Quality Inspectors, overseeing the use of predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect in-process and completed machined and assembled products, including precision electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
- Manage and oversee the utilization of various measuring devices and testing equipment across the department.
- Provide final authority on the acceptance, rejection, or rework of defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
- Ensure all inspection activities align with blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, CMM/Romer Arm, customer, regulatory, and BAE specifications, drawings, inspection instructions, and checklists.
- Direct and monitor quality verification in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Oversee and verify line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
- Spearhead the development and submission of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), ensuring full compliance and accuracy for new product introductions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-facing meetings, providing quality updates and addressing technical concerns.
- Act as an IPC Certified Instructor/Trainer, managing the certification and ongoing training of staff to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop, execute, and manage calibration programs to ensure all measurement and test equipment remains accurate and compliant.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR a High School Diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a quality supervisory or lead role, with a demonstrated ability to manage personnel, oversee workflows, and drive departmental performance.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive experience inspecting aircraft parts and components within a regulated aerospace environment, specifically supporting electrical and mechanical assembly.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
