Job Description
PacArctic,LLC is looking for highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individuals to perform the duties of an Access Control/Security Specialist with intimate knowledge of visitor procedures. The Specialist will support PAC and our government customer at the FBI LAB Quantico, VA. These positions require a Top-Secret clearance. Please do not apply if you do not possess a TS level clearance. The position hours are 2pm - 10pm Monday through Friday. These positions require that you work on the holidays; employees who work on holiday have the flexibility to use the holiday time-off on an alternate date. You are required to take and pass a CI polygraph. The CI polygraph will be provided by FBI management.

Access Control Security Specialists (AC/SS) must be flexible and willing to alternate his or her schedule in order to staff any of the escort desks during the designated working hours. The Contractors may be required to shift their schedule or report to an alternate location without significant advance notice. Demonstrating cooperation and flexibility when directed at staff an alternate escort desk during any of the identified work hours is necessary.

Contractors shall be required to use the FBI access control databases, including the FBI's Phoenix and the SOPU Gatekeeper visitor database.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Contractors shall be required to use the FBI access control databases, including the FBI's Phoenix and the SOPU Gatekeeper visitor database.
- Conduct Scattered Castles and/or JPAS verifications as requested.
- Personnel shall be responsible for processing incoming Visitor Access Requests (VAR) and for entering the information into the appropriate database.
- Must coordinate VAR information with the appropriate FBI Security Division personnel.
- Prepare electronic communications (ECs) in Sentinel as required.
- Responsible for monitoring CCTV video, conducting perimeter checks, and shall assist with escort duties as needed.
- Shall coordinate with Quantico Security Operations Center (QSOC) for emergency response and alarm activity.
- Shall process FBI Limited Access Request (LAR) paperwork.
- Shall issue badges and IDs in accordance with policy and utilize the badge system as directed.
- Personnel shall be responsible for the screening of visitors with an X-ray machine and a metal detector.
- They shall complete all trainings required/provided by the customer to insure proper handling of this equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Minimum education required is a bachelor's degree in any field and three (3) years security experience in relevant fields, such as industrial security, physical security and computer/network security - OR - a minimum of five (5) years of experience in any security related field.
- Must be skilled in creating complex spreadsheets (i.e. Excel, etc.), in preparing briefings (i.e. PowerPoint, etc.), Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Must be able to communicate clearly; must be able to provide security briefings and debriefings; must be able to provide comprehensive written communications.
- Must perform all duties in an extremely professional, customer-service oriented manner.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must possess final Top-Secret personnel security clearances and must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) special access.
