Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Company in El Cajon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer in an aero and defense location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support authorized access for employees and visitors. This role combines a visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help to deter security-related incidents while delivering a professional experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at an aerospace and defense location, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Screen visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders, document access activity, and report unusual conditions or concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting site personnel during investigations, evacuations, and/or other response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for security-related issues, access control concerns, and conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
